Lake Area Tech Equity Camp
February 23, 2022 Session 1 8:30AM-Noon Session 2 – 11:30AM – 2:30 PM
A unique and fun day where students have the chance to explore careers in a “non-traditional” field. Both males and females in 10th grade have the opportunity to experience hands-on activities in fields that are traditionally gender specific. (Equity pre-education at the participating high schools is required and delivered by the Lake Area Tech Equity Coordinator.) Students who attend Equity Day are also given a post-education seminar for educational purposes. Open to students in grade 10.
